LEARN TO PRAY
Prayer doesn't have to be complicated. Prayer is simply a conversation with God.
Whether you're praying for the first time or you’ve been praying for years, God invites you to come to him just as you are. You don't need the perfect words or a polished prayer. You simply need to begin.
Where should I begin?
Everybody starts somewhere. If you've never prayed before, don't overthink it. Talk to God honestly about what's on your heart. Jesus reminds us that God knows what we need before we even ask.
A Simple Way to Pray
Prayer doesn't have to be long or complicated. If you're not sure what to say, try this simple rhythm:
Pause
Slow down and remember that God is with you. Take a deep breath, set aside distractions, and become aware of his presence.
Rejoice
Thank God for who he is and what he's done. You might thank him for your family, his faithfulness, your salvation, or simply for another day.
Ask
Tell God what's on your heart. Share your hopes, your fears, your questions, and your needs. Pray for yourself, for the people you love, and for the world around you.
Yield
Finish by trusting God with whatever you've prayed about. Ask him to guide your steps, shape your heart, and help you follow him today. Then, pray the words of Jesus: “Not my will, but yours be done.”
Build a Daily Rhythm
Like any relationship, your relationship with God grows through spending time together. Prayer isn't about checking a box. It's about learning to walk with God every day.

We're Praying Together
Prayer is personal, but it was never meant to be private. One of the best ways to grow is by praying with other people. Whether it's with your family, your Village Group, or before a Sunday service, prayer reminds us that we're never following Jesus alone.
Consider joining a Village Group where you can encourage one another and pray together regularly.
Keep Growing
Prayer doesn't just change our circumstances. It changes us. As you spend time talking with God, you'll discover greater peace, deeper trust, and a growing awareness of his presence every day.
